This piece was inspired by the marshes and rivers of Amelia Island and Fernandina Beach where the blue hour casts amazing color across the sky, sand, and water. I used Terry Ludwig darks in the underpainting and then a combination of favorites from Diane Townsend, Mount Vision, Unison, Richeson, and Sennelier on UART paper.
