Entering Ghost Ranch was created on UART 400 sanded archival paper. A local color was sketched in with NuPastel and Rembrandts then washed in with isopropyl alcohol. Soft pastels including Unison, Sennelier, Schmincke and Terry Ludwig were glazed on top of the dried underpainting. The painting is based on a reference photo I took on a visit to Ghost Ranch in 2019.
