This painting is a color realization from a 1905 black and white vintage postcard I bought in a flea market in Buenos Ares, where I went to dance Tango. I have wanted to paint this for some time, but hadn't done much art work for many years, until I started an online course 2 years ago. Now that I am painting regularly, I was able to fulfill my desire to paint this lovely girl. Portraits are my favorite subject. I am inspired to capture the feeling of a face or figure, place, scene or moment, and hope that this feeling moves the viewer.
