Painted on gatorboard that I prepared myself with first gesso and then golden matt gel medium with pumice. I did a gallery show called Canyonlands of Texas. This is inspired by Palo Duro Canyon State Park, considered the Grand Canyon of Texas. The second largest canyon in the US.
