A universal ageless symbol is the Tree of Life. When this pastel is viewed from a distance the color and forms - of the "Tree" appear similar to Golgotha - Life and Death. We are in a process of being born, maturing, dying, and being reborn. The tree of life is always blossoming. No matter where we find ourselves in its branches that is a transitory place. We are always alive.
