Source material was a photo I took of my daughters when they were little (they are adults now) and playing at the beach in Carmel-by-the-Sea in California. I wanted to capture their joy, the sun and the feeling of the breeze that day. Soft pastels and pastel pencils on sanded paper mounted on artboard.
