I have always been happy to see my son going camping. I am myself an enthusiast of the great outdoors. Thus my son's stay in Woodland Caribou Provincial Park gave me the inspiration for this painting. "I Love You", said the Wind. "I Love You", confirmed Pine Trees and hoo hoohooed the Owl. This LOVE merged with the entire Universe. "I Love You. Welcome at HOME."
For this painting I almost immediately decided to use Blue Earth soft pastels and NuPastels semi-hard sticks. For softness of the strokes I used soft tools of Pan Pastel.
