Pastels over a light watercolor under painting on pastel mat board.
During covid I found myself using multiple colors of blue in my work. (I am usually a very colorful painter) Beyond the Blues became a metaphor for exploring the blues in my work and in my covid isolation. By painting it, and naming it I was able to find the beauty and hidden treasures that were before me.
