This painting was from a photo taken on a sunny winter day in NC, the calm water and sunshine on the marsh grasses gave me a peaceful feeling that I hoped to convey in the painting, The blues of the water and the reflections from the grasses and trees helped to make painting a place I wanted to be every time I looked at it.
